1 The race
The Travessa Cardó – El Perelló is a semi-nocturnal mountain
race organised by the TR Cabra Feixet club. The 3rd edition will
be held on Saturday 29 August 2026, starting at
18:00 from the Cardó Spa and finishing in El Perelló.
The course is 22.4 km long with 1,100 m of positive
elevation gain, along tracks and trails of the Cardó mountain range. It is
fully waymarked and marshalled, with 2 compulsory checkpoints.
2 Eligibility and minimum age
The race is open to anyone aged 16 or over on race day.
Participants under 18 must present a signed authorisation
from a parent or legal guardian when collecting their race number,
together with photo ID.
Taking part implies acceptance of these rules and awareness that this is a
mountain race held at night, with the physical demands and risks inherent to the
natural environment. Each participant declares that they are in good health and
fit to take part.
3 Entries
- TR Cabra Feixet members: €15
- Non-members: €20
- Coach service to Cardó: €8
Entries are made exclusively through the official channels and are not
confirmed until payment has been completed. Places are limited and allocated on a
first-come, first-served basis.
4 Refunds and transfer of entry
Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
In the event of adverse weather conditions
requiring the race to be modified, postponed or cancelled —either before or during
the event— entry fees will not be refunded. Such decisions are
always taken to safeguard participants, and organisational costs have already been
incurred by that point.
Entries may be transferred to another person by notifying the
organisers up to 7 days before the race (until
22 August 2026). No changes are accepted after this deadline. The
person receiving the entry accepts these rules in full.
5 Compulsory kit
The following must be carried throughout the race:
- Personal hydration — no cups are provided on the course
- Charged and working head torch
- Windproof or waterproof jacket
- Survival blanket
- Suitable trail running shoes
The organisers may carry out kit checks at the start, on the course or at the finish.
6 Race format
- Race number collection: 15:00–16:15 at the El Perelló Sports Hall.
- Coach departure: 16:30.
- Official start: 18:00 at the Cardó Spa.
- The race number must be worn visibly on the front at all times.
- Timing is by chip attached to the race number.
- Passing through both compulsory checkpoints is mandatory.
- There are no cut-off times: everyone may complete the course at their own pace.
7 Respect for the environment
The race takes place in an area of great natural value. Dropping any
litter outside the designated points results in immediate disqualification.
Participants must follow the waymarked course at all times, without shortcuts or
leaving the trail, and respect the wildlife, vegetation and private property along
the route.
8 Penalties
The following result in immediate disqualification:
- Shortening the course or missing a checkpoint.
- Not carrying the compulsory kit.
- Dropping litter outside the designated points.
- Running without a race number, or with one not assigned or transferred without notice.
- Failing to assist a participant in difficulty.
- Antisocial behaviour towards other runners, volunteers or residents.
9 Insurance and medical cover
The organisers hold accident and public liability insurance
covering all registered participants for the duration of the event. No federation
licence is required to take part.
Medical assistance will be available at the start, at the finish and at
designated points along the course. Medical staff and the organisers may
withdraw any participant they consider unfit to continue.
10 Prizes
- Top 3 men, overall category
- Top 3 women, overall category
- Top 3 men, local category
- Top 3 women, local category
Prizes are not cumulative between the overall and local categories. Winners must
be present at the ceremony to collect their prize.
11 Personal data and image rights
The data provided is used solely to manage entries, results and race
communications. Taking part implies authorising the organisers to capture and
publish images and video of the race for information purposes and
to promote the club and the event.

12 Acceptance
Entering the Travessa Cardó – El Perelló implies full acceptance of these rules.
The organisers reserve the right to modify the course, the timetable or any aspect
of the event for reasons of safety or force majeure, and to resolve any situation
not covered by this document.
